Sound Science

We have been learning about the physics of sound in science lately. We learned that sound comes from vibrations and that sound travels by vibrating molecules, which pass the vibrations on from molecule to molecule. We made some paper cup telephones to help us understand this. They gave us an idea of how sound travels and they were fun!

Did you know? ... Dogs have much more sensitive hearing than humans, hearing sounds four times farther away than we can!
