Athletics Day

 Did you go to the Athletics Day at Owairaka Athletics Club?

It was a great day. What were your favourite events?

Room 16 came first in the year 3 class relay. Number 1!

This week is Road Safety Week!

 

Road Safety Week is about encouraging families to think about how

they can help everyone have safe and active journeys to and from school. 

Parking away from the school and walking in helps keep the area outside

the school safer for students. Walking, biking and scootering is a great way

to add exercise into your week!  Please remember to use the crossings,

it may take an extra minute or two but it is another way we can help you to stay safe.

Calendar Art

We are very proud of the artwork we made for Calendar Art. We created a pointalism picture using our fingers and a colour pallette. We blended and mixed the colours to create a beautiful sunset over shimmering water. These can be made into a 2021 calendar or diary, greetings cards and even mouse pads. A great momento or Christmas gift. Keep a look out for the order form and place your order 😊
