Garden To Table

This term we are very lucky and very excited to be taking part in the Garden To Table program. We do this each Wednesday. We take turns working and learning in the garden and in the kitchen. It is great fun and very satisfying to harvest from our school gardens and prepare food together. It is always great to share the meal that we have all worked together to prepare. It is also cool to try new foods and flavours. We love Garden To Table!

 

 

Be the best learner you can be!

In room sixteen we all aim to be the best learner we can be. Franny is a great role model and challenges herself each day to learn new things and do her very best. 

Our school value of Manawanuitanga means that we love learning and Franny certainly does!

Tae Kwon Do

This term we are learning 'tae kwon do' skills every Tuesday. Tae kwon do is a Korean martial art and teaches us about controlling our body. We have expert 'black belt' instructors coming to school to teach us. They will be coming for the first six weeks of the term. See if you can show someone at home some of the skills you have learned.
