At Owairaka we have a school 'care code'. It is a set of guidelines that help us to care for the environment as an 'enviro-school'.
One of the guidelines says that we pick up rubbish even if we weren't the ones that dropped it.
Room sixteen have some fantastic role models who do this regularly.
We put in the effort to be kaitiaki at our school and in our neighborhood.
